It is such an amazing spot!

Lee sharing the fruits of her labor; Toby wishing we would share more with him

Everbearing raspberries were amazing! Emily would have ate all the raspberries and passed out in the patch if we let her.
-
"We're married now, I think this is how you're supposed to eat grapes."
-
Sizing up some of Aunt Lee's mighty fine cookin'!
-
Lee's famous "gato gato"
-
Some friendly wits and wagers were played, with only a little bragging
-
Maya was our host dog! (Thank you Sam and Marta for really hosting us!)
-
We took the ferry on cousin Sam's birthday to the Kitsap Peninsula.
-

-
The Puget Sound
-
Hiking through the sword ferns and big coastal trees to get to the beach.
-
Low tide on the beach
-
Lots of little treasures around
-
Plenty of snacking
-
-
Then we drove to Hamma Hamma to get some fresh oysters! Setting wasn't too shabby ;)
-
Preparing for the sensory experience that is eating oysters
-
Awkward family photos
-
Some raw and some roasted oysters
-
Sam reassuring Emily that this is a good idea
-
She actually went for it! She at two, but I can't see her eating them again. Mitch and the rest loved them though!
-
Hiking Discovery park with Uncle Steve.
-
Discovery Park is over 500 acres on the Puget Sound, and is right in Seattle's city limits.
-
-
Great views of the Sound!
-
"Lime bike" is Seattle's bikeshare program and can be seen all over the city. You can rent one to get to your location and leave it wherever you want!
